The relationship between the observed and the observer attains a critical tension in this group photographic exhibition on the figure. The intent and content of the resolved image is also a resolution of formal concerns. The focus of the gaze on the figure may conjure documentation that marks a social rite, the figure as landscape, or the compositional quest of light and dark. The images may be erotic, are always sensual, and sometimes portend metaphor.
