What Harry Potter fan would pass up the opportunity to attend

for a week? The Durham Art Gallery is offering a March break program based on the mythical school in J.K. Rowlings' Harry Potter series.

Anna Gruda, art teacher and Harry Potter fan, is planning a week full of activities based on an artistic exploration of the world of Hogwarts. Decorate your own Quidditch broom, make a wizards hat, design your own mythical beasts! Specific activities will include: Transformation (drama), Potions (cooking and science) and Divination (games).

A special Harry Potter book reading will take place at the Pontypridd bookstore on March 16th. Students will also have the opportunity to check out Harry Potter websites at the Gallery's Internet Centre.
The program runs from Monday to Friday, March 12 - 16, 9:00 - 3:00.
Enrollment is limited to 12.
The registration deadline is February 28.
The fee is $125 (including all materials).
Bring your own lunch and snacks.
